Alexander Lotersztain was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed an Industrial Design degree at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, in Brisbane, Australia. After his graduation, he moved to Tokyo and then to Milan and Barcelona, working with prestigious design studios and honing his skills. In 2006, he returned to Brisbane, where he founded his eponymous design firm, and in 2006, Derlot. A multi-disciplinary design studio, Derlot is now one of Australia’s leading furniture brands. The designer’s work is imaginative and bold, drawing inspiration from Australian landscapes and offering innovative takes on different art and design movements of the 20th century. Alexander Lotersztain has received many awards for his work, including the Inaugural Queensland Premier Smart State Designer of the Year Fellowship Award 2010. His designs have been published worldwide and have been included in the collection of Centre Pompidou, Paris.

We are looking for
Visual Production Interns – the role is focused on photography, design, photo-editing, image curation, and other visual media.
Editorial Interns – the role requires classic editorial skills, from writing and basic editing to research and reportage.
