Desai Chia Architecture was founded in 1996 by Katherine Chia and Arjun Desai. The two architects share a passion for authentic design, bold concepts, and elegant simplicity. The studio’s extensive portfolio includes anything from private homes and weekend retreats to cultural and commercial projects. Every building and living space designed by the practice aims to blur the border between interior and natural spaces, with light playing a central role in the designs. Desai Chia’s work has received recognition, with prestigious awards including four American Architecture Awards, six American Institute of Architects Design Awards, and four Interior Design Best of Year Awards, among many others.
