Architect Dieter Dietz is based in both Zurich and Lausanne. He founded dieterdietz.org as a platform for architectural and design projects, building up teams according to each project’s requirements. Thus, studios and creatives work together as co-authors to bring various projects to life. These range from private residences to public spaces and urban design. With an acute focus on social and environmental responsibility, the projects always promote a holistic process and an inclusive approach to achieve excellence in design. Founder Dieter Dietz is also an architectural design professor at EPFL in Lausanne, where he runs the ALICE laboratory. Work completed by ALICE and dieterdietz.org has been awarded a Swiss Art Award as well as London Festival of Architecture Main and Signpost Awards, with projects included in exhibitions at the Venice Biennale of Architecture, the São Paulo International Architecture Biennale, the Beijing Today Art Museum, and Dwell on Design in Los Angeles, among others.
