Elena Salmistraro

Elena Salmistraro is a Milan-based award-winning product designer and artist. In 2009, one year after graduating from the Polytechnic University of Milan, she founded her own studio with her husband, architect Angelo Stoli. Throughout her work, Elena Salmistraro blurs the line between art and design. Expressive and playful, her designs are bold as well as distinctive. They often blend sculptural forms, detailed patterns, and harmonious shapes with vibrant color palettes. Inspired by nature, her designs feature animal characters or organic silhouettes. Elena Salmistraro has worked with renowned brands, including Seletti, Alessi, and De Castelli. She has exhibited her work in Italy and around the world, including at the Triennale Design Museum of Milan, Shanghai Biennale, and Maison&Objet Paris.
