Spanish architect Fran Silverstre (1976) studied architecture and urban planning at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura and Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, respectively. He established Fran Silvestre Arquitectos in 2005, bringing together a team of talented architects and designers. Based in Valencia, Spain, the multidisciplinary firm completes residential, cultural, and public architecture as well as product design projects. Influenced by sculptor Andreu Alfaro and architect Alvaro Siza, Fran Silvestre designs minimalist buildings and spaces. His work combines sustainability, innovation, tradition, and precision with timeless design. The architect has received many awards; they include the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award as well as the first prize at the Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism Award in 2016. Fran Silvestre is also a professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and at Universidad Europea.
