Founded in 1999, Heliotrope achieved regional and national recognition for its portfolio that includes residential and commercial properties as well as public spaces and work environments. Timeless and expertly crafted, the projects completed by the practice are spread throughout the West. Whether they are retreat homes open to the landscape or stylish retail spaces, all of the properties designed by Heliotrope combine refinement, minimalism and natural materials, as well as references to the social and cultural context of the project’s location. So far, the studio has received five AIA design Awards and has offices in Seattle and Portland.
