Trained as an architect, photographer and visual artist Kevin Scott presents a more nuanced view of the places he photographs. Throughout his work, the NYC-based photographer focuses on finding the defining concepts of built environments. His images often capture intuitive responses and emotional aspects of architectural designs. At the same time, some photographs aim to connect the viewer with these spaces through a view that mimics the perspective of the inhabitants. Natural light, minimalism, and creative angles give the images a cinematic as well as documentary feel. Kevin Scott’s interior and architecture photography has been featured in prestigious publications. These include Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Dwell, and The New York Times.
