Born in Japan in the Kanagawa prefecture, Kunikazu Hamanishi went on to study at Tama Art University. After his graduation, he worked for seven years as an interior designer for Tanseisha, followed by a journey to Denmark to study furniture design. He opened his own multidisciplinary studio in 2015. Under the name Hamanishi DESIGN, the designer creates furniture, lighting, and home accessories with an experimental approach. Focusing on establishing emotional bonds between product and user, the studio makes creative designs that combine a minimalism and sculptural details with functional features. Kunikazu Hamanishi has exhibited his work throughout the world, including at Milano Salone Satellite and Stockholm Furniture Fair. Awards include a German Design Award and a Hida Furniture Award, among others.

Visual Production Interns – the role is focused on photography, design, photo-editing, image curation, and other visual media.
Editorial Interns – the role requires classic editorial skills, from writing and basic editing to research and reportage.
