Luís Rebelo de Andrade established his own studio in 1989, three years after graduating with a degree in Architecture from the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon. The Rebelo de Andrade architecture and design firm quickly gained recognition in Portugal. Early projects included designing the British Embassy in 1990 and Casa do Artista in 1991. Now, the studio’s team includes architects, designers, and talented creatives. The firm’s extensive and varied portfolio features residential and commercial projects as well as public spaces, hospitality, and religious buildings. Timeless design that pays homage to tradition via refined aesthetics defines the studio’s work. Creativity, respect for nature, and an ability to adapt to the constant changes of the modern world give a distinctive character to all Rebelo de Andrade projects. The studio has worked with both national and international companies, with several projects receiving awards and mentions.
