Luís Rebelo de Andrade established his own studio in 1989, three years after graduating with a degree in Architecture from the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon. The Rebelo de Andrade architecture and design firm quickly gained recognition in Portugal. Early projects included designing the British Embassy in 1990 and Casa do Artista in 1991.
