Messner Architects

Messner Architects was founded in 2013 by brother and sister David and Verena Messner. The two architects have both studied architecture at the University of Innsbruck and at the Institute for Experimental Architecture./studio3. The firm’s work showcases the founders’ multidisciplinary approach to design. Contemporary but influenced by their local context, the studio’s projects balance natural and built elements. They also establish a dialogue between architecture, design, landscape, and art. Messner Architects’ work varies widely in both scale and purpose. Completed projects include everything from furniture design and residential architecture to renovations and restorations of churches and historical buildings. Messner Architects is based in Bolzano, Northern Italy.
