Nobuyuki Fukui

Yokohama, Japan

Nobuyuki Fukui was born in 1975 in the Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Without attending any architecture or design courses, he acquired a valuable set of skills while working first in a woodworking shop, then as a restorer of vintage furniture for ACME Furniture, and finally in his family’s real estate company. In 2005, he established Roovice in Yokohama. Specializing in renovation work, the firm completes a wide range of projects, from residential and commercial to public spaces. Nobuyuki Fukui’s work also focuses on the revitalization of old, often vacant houses or business premises that require a complete redesign. Blending traditional and contemporary elements, Nobuyuki Fukui creates spaces that feel both nostalgic and modern.
