Born in 1986 in Kyoto, Japan, Seiki Ishii studied industrial design at the LAB University of Applied Sciences in Finland and at Stanford University in the US before moving back home to finish a master’s degree at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. In 2016, he established his own design firm, Seiki Design Studio. Based in Kyoto, the design practice works with a wide range of Japanese and international clients. Throughout his work, Seiki Ishii draws inspiration from the spontaneity, drive, and emotions of daily life to create minimalist and practical objects, home accessories, and lighting. He has received several awards for his designs, including the prestigious iF Design Award and the Good Design Award.

We are looking for
Visual Production Interns – the role is focused on photography, design, photo-editing, image curation, and other visual media.
Editorial Interns – the role requires classic editorial skills, from writing and basic editing to research and reportage.
