Weng Xinyu

Weng Xinyu (翁昕煜) was born in Taizhou (台州), China. He graduated from CUC in Beijing majoring German Studies, after which he studied product design at Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany. After exhibiting his graduate projects wrks at various design fairs. He decided to practice his design philosophy in the form of a design studio. The focus of Weng’s design practice is to understand the relationship between mankind and its creations. He is interested to use design as an expression to reflect on social problems. He also seeks inspiration by comparing cultures and re-discovering traditions and legacies before our age.
