1100 Architect was founded in 1983 by David Piscuskas and Juergen Riehm. The New York-based architecture practice focuses on architecture, interior design, and urban design projects while also offering sustainability planning, environmental consultation, and historic landmark assessment services. The award-winning firm has completed residential and commercial architecture along with projects for educational institutions, cultural organizations, and local and federal governments. Notable examples include the Riverside Health Center and the Irish Hunger Memorial in New York, the University of Pennsylvania’s Perry World House in Philadelphia, and the New York Public Library, Battery Park City branch.
