Situated in Philadelphia, Dragani Martone Studio (dMAS) is a distinguished architecture and design practice guided by seasoned experts Alfred Dragani and Concetta Martone. The firm is dedicated to transforming the built environment by embracing a thoughtful and collaborative design approach. Projects undertaken by dMAS cover a broad spectrum, including academic and cultural institutions, private residences, and workspaces, with each project viewed as an opportunity to address challenges and create lasting societal and cultural impacts. A four-pronged methodology is employed at dMAS, consisting of Inquiry, Collaboration, Research, and Implementation, to ensure the provision of practical and innovative solutions. The architecture produced is tailored to meet the unique circumstances and requirements of each individual project. The range of services offered by the studio includes feasibility studies, programming and conceptual design, interior space design, new structure design, and adaptive reuse of existing structures. A particular area of interest for dMAS is the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, which is also a primary focus of their research. By reimagining and repurposing existing structures, infrastructure, and open spaces, dMAS contributes to the formation of sustainable communities and the revitalization of urban environments.
