Handegaard Arkitektur

Fredrikstad, Norway

Handegård Arkitektur was established in 2010 with the ambition of creating architecture with qualities that are able to create new expressions and push on the established. Whether it is complex projects or intricate details, we will challenge the interplay between architecture, landscape and art to see how they can strengthen each other. For that reason, we meet each project with openness and playfulness to find the exciting, whimsical and adventurous.

Inclusive collaboration and active dialogue with customers, users and external knowledge, gives us the basis for performing interdisciplinary well-thought-out architecture.

It is in the good spatial and landscape experiences that sustainability lies. We want valuable experiences in functional and lasting solutions that are placed in a context with as respectful and sensitive treatment of the environment as possible.
The bulk of our work varies between detached houses, extensions and cottages. Other examples are studios, ferry berths, picnic areas and the decoration of rooms and landscapes. In addition, Handegård arkitektur is part of the architectural community EX3, which together carries out major projects.
