A beautiful and practical folding chair designed for everyday use and any interior.
Founded in 1953, Italian furniture manufacturer PLANK has been guided by a “pursuit of perfection and progress” to make award-winning designs. Collaborating with renowned designers, the company produces pieces of furniture that are as skillfully crafted as they are beautiful and practical. PLANK uses solid wood and innovative materials that are always recyclable, favoring modular designs that are both durable and easy to repair when needed. At this year’s Salone del Mobile Milano, the company introduced a new addition to their collection, the Theo folding chair. Designed by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana, the chair encompasses PLANK’s dedication to producing furniture that is elegantly minimalist, functional, and easy to fall in love with.
The Theo folding chair comes with a solid oak frame and a natural or black oxidized stainless steel folding mechanism that offer exceptional durability and stability. Made from pieces of molded plywood, the seat and the backrest curve softly to enhance comfort and to give the chair an elegant expression.
PLANK offers a wide range of color and finish options for Theo, to suit any space and interior design style. The oak veneered versions come in natural or stained finishes, while the matte open-pore lacquered chairs come in Walnut, Brown Red, Olive Green and Black options. Additionally, optional seat cushions come in fabric or leather. While the dense Moessmer Dolo Loden 100% wool fabric comes in four colors, the silky-smooth Dani Florida leather comes in 96 colors, offering endless styling possibilities for high-end interiors.
