Serena Heller

Roma, Italy

Serena Eller is a photographer based between Rome and Palermo. She focuses on interiors, still life, and lifestyle photography, often working for Italian and international magazines. Her background is in photography, but it was architecture that first drew her in—less in theory, more in practice. What stayed with her was how people shape space, and how spaces reflect them in return.

After studying at ISFCI in Rome, she moved to Paris in her twenties and began working with editorial teams. She returned to Italy when her children were young, continuing to build a career centered on photographing homes, places, and the people connected to them. She approaches each space not as a backdrop, but as something that carries history—looking for signs of how it’s been lived in and what it holds.
