Falcon BMW R Nine T

A modern bike with a classic appearance.

Dresden-based Hookie Co. likes to do things differently. Case in point? This is the first bike workshop in Germany to bring together a garage along with a place that welcomes anyone from the motorcycle community and a coffee shop, all under one roof. When it comes to custom builds, the company uses the same creative approach. Named Falcon, this BMW R Nine T draws inspiration from the bird of prey, re-imagining the fierceness and speed of the king of the sky through subtle design cues. The client also offered another source of inspiration for the design, the distinct Brough Superior SS100. Natural and dynamic meets sleek and modern as well as classic and timeless. With these sources of inspiration as a foundation, the team rolled up their sleeves and starting working on the custom build – their very first R Nine T.

Using a 2014 BMW R Nine T bike, Hookie Co. took the motorcycle apart and redesigned it to give it a classic look. The handmade bespoke aluminum bodywork includes a custom tail section as well as a fuel tank with a stock fuel pump. At the back, there’s an Arrow Titanium Exhaust System, while at the front the team added a Motogadget Motoscope Pro, Kellermann Atto Signals, and a large LED truck light. Other modifications include ABM Clip-Ons, Rizoma grips, and a custom holder for the license plate. For the final step, the team used a special silver paint along with golden accents.
