Farer’s Endeavour Titanium Aqua Compressor Automatic Watch

An updated, modernized take on the Aqua Compressor dive watch collection.

Offering a modernized take on the Farer’s popular Aqua Compressor watches, this collection features upgraded designs that maximize function without losing their subtle vintage-style character. The timepieces feature new, lightweight but tougher titanium cases with internal bezels and twin crowns. The line’s Endeavour Titanium Aqua Compressor Automatic watch has caught out attention thanks to its monochrome look and dark good-looks. The name pays homage to the first known ship to reach the east coast of Australia, Captain Cook’s Royal Navy research vessel, HMS Endeavour.

Ingenious details that enhance function.

The timepiece features a 41mm marine-grade titanium case (45mm lug-to-lug) that measures 12.5mm in thickness. Together with a double domed sapphire crystal, this dive watch has water resistance up to 30ATM, or 1,000 feet. The ultra-dark, light-absorbing matte black dial features updated minute markers with steel accents as well as pure white Super-LumiNova coatings. This luminous finish ensures perfect legibility even in murkier water or low-lighting conditions. An internal bezel and engraved white markings complete the dial, along with a 20-minute scale. The latter allows the user to see the elapsed time spent underwater at a glance.

To set the unidirectional bezel, the user only needs to turn the solid titanium crown. A double thick sapphire crystal with a multi-layer anti-reflection finish ensures a perfect view of the dial. Other features include a solid bronze tapered crown for movement as well as a quality, Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré Non-Date movement with a bespoke Farer rotor. Farer offers the watch with a quick-release rubber strap or with a titanium bracelet.

Designed in London, each watch is carefully handmade in Switzerland and comes with a 5-year movement guarantee. The Farer Endeavour Titanium Aqua Compressor Automatic watch is currently sold out in the brand’s online store but has a price of $1,175. Apart from the black Endeavour, the Aqua Compressor line also comprises Hecla with a blue dial and Leven with a silver one. Photography © Farer.
