Feet First by Tom Robinson

View all 61 Photos

The toes of Tom Robinson has wiggled across the globe as he’s captured them in his photo series “Feet First.” The beginning of this journey began while he was pondering about how nice of a photo it would be to have his and his girlfriend Verity’s feet pointing at the sea on Brighten Beach, England. This led to a photo collection of the beautiful landscapes and cultures across the continents of Europe, Asia, South America, Central America and Austrailia with a view of their feet on each one. After five years, the duo became a trio with their daughter Matilda dainty little toes joining their photo trek.

“The whole object of travel is not to set foot on foreign land; it is at last to set foot on one’s own country as a foreign land.” – G. K. Chesterton
