The Fonte Table Light

A handmade table lamp made from glossy ceramic.

German design brand favius collaborates with award-winning designers to produce creative and stylish furniture and lighting that merge visual cues from architecture and art. The Fonte table light joins the brand’s refined collection of products. Created by Porto-based German designer Christian Haas, the lamp has a strong personality and a bold silhouette. The sculptural design is expressive and contemporary as well as elegant and creative. Made from ceramic, the lamp has a rounded form with an imposing shade reminiscent of a mushroom cap. Inside the curved top, there’s a dimmable light that illuminates the entire object from within, brightening either living spaces or offices with a soft glow.

favius uses both high-end materials and traditional craftsmanship to produce each piece of furniture, lighting, or home accessory. This table lamp is no exception. Handcrafted in Germany from ceramic, Fonte features a lustrous, glossy finish. The company offers the lamp in different colors. While Powder and Graphite Gray are more neutral, Caramel Brown and Cypress Green add a pop of color to interiors. Apart from the Fonte table light, the brand has also introduced a new side table in the collection, Bromo by Hanne Willmann. Photographs © favius.
