GT House is a studio for the artistic individual, and its black exterior decorated by a grid of windows and a mural of colorful graffiti art states a precondition for all visitors to let their imaginations run wild before entering the domain. Located in Londrina, Brazil, the building was designed by Studio Guilherme Torres and proudly displays the niche of an artist. Exposed metal pipes run up the walls to accentuate the high ceilings of the space, a physical representation of free thought within the stark, industrial interior. Porcelain figurines and concrete finishes create a cold and hard ambience – a blank slate and white canvas, no less – which is in turn softened by the fur rug in the living room. Monochromatic white and black also dominate the bedroom interiors, as if awaiting the vibrant splash of creativity.
