Huddle, 3D Printed Light Shade by David Graas

View all 4 Photos

A distinct trait of the city are towering buildings lit up at night. This genius pendant wraps an LED light bulb with a miniature city scape. The artist is David Graas from the Netherlands. Lighting up home decor isn’t just for show.  He says, “Just like the penguins in the Antarctic huddle to survive the extreme cold during the winter time also people have taken on huddling as a strategy for survival. The mega city, despite its many problems, seems to be our destined habitat now that resources are becoming scarce…also holds the key to a sustainable future with its concentration of information, technology and talent”.

This 3-D lamp shade is certain to become a conversation piece in your home. It is a totally hip way to communicate adoration for your city. Proudly display it surprising guests in your foyer ceiling or use the floor base to bring a sophisticated edge to an office space. Here you can buy the pendant and here the floor version
