Introducing Versant Edition

Founded in 2015, French brand Versant Edition recently launched its first furniture collection. The brand takes inspiration “from the mountain range as well as the valleys and summits which surround it. A place beyond time, to get away from everything.”

For the first collection, Versant Edition reached out to French designers POOL, Pierre Dubourg, Studio Brichet-Ziegler, and Sylvain Willenz. The range includes a lounge chair, a coffee table, a table with a bench, a loveseat, and a desk lamp. Inspired by the spirit of the breathtaking Pyrenees, the collection is as beautiful as you’d expect it to be. Clean lines and powerful angles combine with elegant curves. Like the mountains they celebrate, these pieces of furniture capture one’s attention with a beautiful simplicity as well as with their natural elegance.

Of course, the brand not only pays homage to the local landscape but also to the work of local craftspeople and skilled artisans who have created their own designs for generations at the foot of the spectacular mountains they all call home. That way, the collection completes a full circle and honors both nature and the spirit of local people. Photography credits: Versant Edition.
