The Junghans Max Bill 60th Anniversary Collection

A limited-edition set that celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Max Bill watch.

The Junghans Max Bill watch is an iconic design and an elegant embodiment of Bauhaus principles. To celebrate the timepiece’s 60th anniversary, Junghans has launched a special set with three limited-edition watches that provide stylish interpretations of the beloved watch. Named Max Bill Edition Set 60, the exclusive line pays homage to the refined minimalism of the original design. The set includes three watches, each of them packaged in its own box and placed in a beautiful presentation case with a Max Bill illustration and a gray, cream, and orange color palette. Apart from a regulator watch, the set also features a radio-controlled timepiece and a three-hand automatic watch.

While they have different movements and functions, all three watches have similar designs. They come with 38 mm stainless steel cases with an anthracite polished PVD coating and engraved logos on the back. The white dials feature anthracite hands with eco-friendly luminous finishes and orange accents as well as a “60” marker at 12 o’clock. Apart from domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflection, the watches also come with light gray leather straps. The straps feature orange leather lining and black stitching as well as PVD-coated stainless steel buckles. Available from July 2021, the Junghans Max Bill Edition Set 60 is limited to only 1,060 units. This collector’s set will have a price of around $5,000. Photographs© Junghans.
