Koo Koo Mailbox by Bill Playso

View all 5 Photos

Carrier pigeons are an outdated form of postal service, but that won’t stop the friendly birds from infiltrating your mail route. Bill Playso of Australian design brand Playso has crafted a low maintenance companion for carrying – well, housing – your mail. Koo Koo is a mailbox that derives its silhouette from the feathered creature, but remains completely functional. Housing regular letters inside its wood and metal body, and folding the Sunday paper under its colorful, triangular wing, Koo Koo ensures that you get your letters and periodicals without delay. And no doubt, your local postman will appreciate Koo Koo’s laughable look as well.
