Laura Desk by Phloem Studio

View all 14 Photos

Drawing inspiration from George Nelson’s swag, The Laura Desk is quite a unique piece.  It’s simple, functional, and modern-a flash back to the simplicity and craftsmanship of yesterday’s utilitarian writing desks.
It’s many features include three open cubbies at the back end of the desktop that hide two cord ports, but the wow factor seems to be the two angled drawers, that when pulled out, expose fun cut out shapes that provide simple storage for items such as pens, paper clips, and smart phones.
This 30 inch masterpiece is the perfect new addition to any writer’s comfy abode.
Each Laura desk is made to order in Portland, OR with the finest domestic hardwood around: currently available in walnut, cherry, ash, or white oak.  Contact Ben at Phloem Studio to order your own Laura desk, and you too, can write in style.
