Leather Parrot by Zim & Zou for Hermès

Poly want an Old Fashioned?  Poly want a Bimmer?
Looking nothing but fly (pun intended) fully dressed in a leather suit of feathers, this parrot sculpture by Zim & Zou grabs us with its realistic form and flair of colors. Certainly an upgrade from their typical medium of paper, this bird’s perfectly perched, proudly displaying cut off scraps from the floor of the Hermes Paris workshop.

The 25 year old duo, Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmerman create in their studio out of Nancy, France. Rooted in graphic design, their gravitation to paper sculptures has lead them to create one of a kind photographs.
