Founded in 2013 by design buff Jacob Juul, Bulbul Watches gets inspiration from some of the most influential creative minds in Scandinavia; Kilodesign, BIG Architecture, and Skibsted Ideation merge in a brilliant collaboration dubbed “KiBiSi,” a Copenhagen-based trio which makes everything from domestic products to modes of transportation. Ore, their latest design for Bulbul, is the third in a series of contemporary Danish timepieces. Driven by the desire to reduce watch design to its very “ore,” the group has brought forth a minimal piece made to endure years of wear and never go out of style. Made with a premium Italian leather strap, ultra-durable sapphire glass, high-grade German steel, a gold-plated Swiss watch movement and 10 years worth of battery life, the precise piece is unparalleled in both quality and looks, “crafted to make the material durability match the aesthetic sustainability.” Although it’s available in a wide range of colors now on the Gessato store, each model is finished off with Bulbul’s same signature blue watch band loop.
