The Marset Dipping Light

Capturing the essence of light with creative lighting design.

Back in 2014, designer Jordi Canudas created a special lamp for a special restaurant. The green-colored light honored the award-winning Italian restaurant Il Giardinetto. Fast forward to 2016, and the bold design received an award: the best installation at the Llum BCN light festival in Barcelona. Now, lighting manufacturer Marset has launched the complete collection, in a variety of vibrant colors. The Dipping Light line aims to capture the essence of light via creative lighting design. Dipped in color, the bulbs also double as shades. While the concentric circles vary in intensity, the pigments also filter the light and infuse it with color and texture.

Turned on, the Dipping Light illuminates with a hued glow, allowing the user to create different ambient lighting. At the same time, the different color options provide the perfect solution to complement any decor or to add a touch of contrast and vibrancy to a minimalist interior. Turned off, the lamps become decorative objects that easily create focal points. A brass base completes the design and enhances the artisanal character of the line further. Thanks to the manufacturing process, each Dipping Light lamp is one-of-a-kind. The line features two lamp sizes and several colors, from Green, Pink, and Amber to Blue, Black, and White. Each color creates a different mood and gives the light a different quality.
