The Land Rover Defender Works V8 Edition

Celebrating a 70th anniversary in style, with a new Land Rover Defender 2018 collection.

This year, iconic UK brand Land Rover turns 70. To mark the occasion, the company recently announced the launch of a special edition of upgraded Defender cars. Available in a set of 150 units, the new Defender Works V8 collection will feature re-engineered D90s and D110s models. Both versions will have a set of technical upgrades. These include an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission as well as engines capable of reaching a top speed of 106 mph, with a sprint of 0 to 60 mph completed in around 5.6 seconds. The new Land Rover Defender 2018 range will also get a design makeover to enhance its timeless style.

Apart from the eight color options and two satin versions, the cars will come with a Santorini Black roof, wheel arches, and grille. Machined aluminum hood lettering, door handles, and fuel filler cap complete the list of upgrades. The exclusive edition comes with a price tag of around $206,000. Launched in the UK and Europe, the Defender Works V8 collection will also be available in the Middle East and North Africa through a personal import option. Photographs© Land Rover.
