Japanese paper artist Terada Mokei created this amazing 1:100 scaled paper series of NYC subway stations, all the objects are made into cut out sheets and ready to be popped out and glued into place. The series includes many of New York’s urban landmarks, the street vendors that sell hotdogs and pretzels, mounted police officers, a mailbox, bicycles, squirrels, peoples of all shapes and sizes as well as the many more teeny tiny paper pieces. He paid a tremendous amount of attention to details, representing all aspects of life; this is the perfect collection to have if you want a piece of New York in your own home.
