Office Furniture Upcycled from Outdated Mac Computers

View all 9 Photos

These benches are made of solid wood and aluminum desktop towers. Originally created for a freecycle event in Freiburg, Germany, the furnishings are designed and crafted by Klaus Geiger. Each piece upcycles two outdated Mac computer cases with perforated front plating. The industrial components serve as the base and open to reveal storage space. Smoothly integrated with a polished plank of wood, the seating shows that good design can outlive its original purpose.
