Papelote Stationery by Katerina Šachová

Though summer is nearly here, the joys of schooldays can still be found in the creations produced by Czech-based Papelote Stationery. Conceived as a final project to founder Kate?ina Šachová’s education in design, the bold and modern take on old-fashioned stationery. Materials and textures are presented in new ways as felt pockets become a simple carrying case for writing tools, and bright elastic bands are a great mix-and-match tool to hold pencils close to one’s sketchbook. The eco-friendly products are elevated with fun prints such as a drafted blueprint (well, black) of a chair, and other colorful touches. Papelote, which is a breath of fresh air to the ordinary office supply closet, makes you wish you were back at school to show off your stylish gear in front of jealous classmates!
