The Pure Minimalist Collection

A line of ultra-minimal furniture for serene living spaces.

New York-based Australian designer Ameé Allsop believes in creating products and interiors that evoke a sense of peace. With The Pure Minimalist line, she also explores the simplicity of form in relation with materiality. The furniture collection draws inspiration from the designer’s move away from vibrant Brooklyn to the calmness of East End and its beaches. By “calming the senses and enticing a poetic change,” the range aims to create serene spaces via thoughtful design. In a quest to find the essence, the designer simplified the forms and used only natural materials. Solid American ash wood and travertine combine with light linen in a perfect balance of purity, form, and material. The Pure Minimalist range features seven products that blend into any modern interior with ease.

Handmade in New York, the collection includes an upholstered armchair, chairs and a shelving unit as well as a bench and a table. While the furniture has clean lines and ultra-minimal volumes, Ameé Allsop added creative touches to make the pieces stand out from the crowd. Dynamic angles and contrasts between different sections of the same object highlight the elegant simplicity of the designs further. The ideal furniture solution for relaxed but refined living spaces.
