The Rossling Hydromatic C.01 Diver’s Watch

A well-crafted diver’s watch designed with reliability and function in mind.

Family-owned and run Canadian company Rossling & Co. entered the independent watch industry in 2013 with a bang: a successful Kickstarter campaign that led to the launch of the first Rossling timepiece. Six years later, the company has made and sold over 100,000 watches in more than 70 countries. The new Rossling Hydromatic C.01 diver’s watch now joins the collection. A special timepiece, Hydromatic C.01 marks several ‘firsts’ for the brand. Apart from being the first diver’s watch in the Rossling range, this is also the first one to feature a Swiss automatic movement and a “Made in Germany” label.

Engineered as a veritable diver’s watch, the timepiece features an anti-magnetic case that is both shock and chemical resistant. Fully ISO 6425 / DIN 8306 compliant, Hydromatic C.01 is water-resistant up to 200ATM/200m. The watch also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, an engraved unidirectional ceramic bezel, and an exhibition caseback. The high-beat ETA 2824-2 / Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement has a 38-hour power reserve and provides excellent reliability and durability.

Super-LumiNova finishes on the hands, bezel, and markers ensure that the user can see the dial even in low-lighting conditions. Finally, all Hydromatic C.01 watches come with a stainless steel 3-link adjustable bracelet. Customers can pre-order the watch from early November. The first 100 people who reserve a timepiece will be able to get it at a special price of $399, with the future retail price set at $599. If you want to be one of the first 100 pre-orders, you can sign up to receive a notification with the launch date on the Rossling website. Photographs© Rossling & Co.
