The Massachusetts-based running shoe company Saucony recently debuted their DXN Lodge Pack of cold-weather sneakers. Abbreviating the name of Rod Dixon, winner of the 1983 New York Marathon and previous collaborative designer with Saucony, the DXN Lodge line is especially crafted for long distance hiking. The shoes are comfortable thanks to the gum rubber sole and signature Dixon midsole. Moreover, they’re warm, whether one gets the canvas or the wool version, because of that bright red “long john” lining. Stylish to boot, the kicks come in camo and heather gray colorways with white stitching and waxed laces and beige leather detailing. The shoes were once available online from $90, but they are already sold out. Nonetheless, fans shouldn’t worry; Saucony offers many excellent options, and footwear this good is bound to come back as a modern-day classic.
