Designer Matej Chabera creates furniture that is the added touch of comfort to an already bubbling social situation when out. Made for the furniture production company LUGI, the Table 01, Coatstand 01 and Barstool 02 were all designed to be the ideal platforms of creating that spark and communication during a naturally informal event. Coatstand 01 is a freestanding piece of furniture with three bisecting legs that are shaped differently at the intersection. Whether it be coats, umbrellas, hats or handbags – this sturdy solid ash wooden stand can handle it all. Table 01 is perfect for cafes, bars or any other social/co-working environment where its diagonal sticks dictate its distinguished look. The sticks provide strength by connecting the legs while creating opportunities to hang an array of personal items. The special characteristics of our fermented friend, wine, was the inspiration behind the beautiful design of the Barstool 02. Known as the true wine drinker’s bar stool, this ash wooden treasure is treated with a black wax to procure a warm earthy tone along with an electrifying bright red color on one of its legs.
