Size Matters, A Corten Steel Standing Bird Feeder

A practical standing bird feeder inspired by architecture.

Following on the footsteps of the Canal Birdhouse series, Amsterdam-based product and interior designer Frederik Roijé has launched another bird-friendly product. In a similar way to the Smokestack Fireplace and Grill, this standing bird feeder features a Corten steel build as well as an architecture-inspired design. The Size Matters bird feeder brings together two gabled houses in a sculptural composition. Thanks to the different dimensions of the two intersecting but separated volumes, birds of various sizes can use the bird feeder at the same time. The spacious and open structures also offer a convenient way to watch the birds as they come to feed. Plus, the design looks different depending on the viewing angle.

As practical as it is modern, this standing bird feeder features a supporting rod and base. The design allows the easy relocation of the architectural object as needed. Like other products made by Studio Frederik Roijé, Size Matters is crafted locally in the Netherlands by skilled artisans. Apart from its durable, high-quality build, the bird feeder also resists the elements and suits any outdoor space. The compact size offers an easy way to create a safe haven for birds in a garden or terrace. You can now find the Size Matters standing bird feeder in the Gessato Design Store.
