Solid Spin Lamp Collection by Johanna Tammsalu

View all 20 Photos

Round and round and round like pretty carousel horses, Johanna Tammsalu has whirled her way into creating the Solid Spin Lamp Collection. She experimented to her heart’s content with all kinds of regular objects hanging them by a cord and weeee! In this series, she uses keys in the dark blue lamp, high heels in the peacock blue lamp, and glasses in the glossy grey lamp. Their blurred silhouettes were photographed and video taped in slow motion, revealing a curvacious profile. The ceramic lamps are made by hand out of the 3B Lab Studio or the “Mario Brothers” in Italy. Made in three separate sections, then fused together, glossed and painted, the results are extraordinary, each pendant unique and lovely in its own way. These head turners are sure to bring a punch of personality to your home.
