Waking up in the morning should be as gentle as possible as well as smooth. That’s the concept behind these Stelton alarm clocks. Part of the Stelton Danish Modern 2.0 collection, the Okiru clock is minimalist and elegantly simple. Designer Kazushige Miyake, founder of Miyake Design, created the alarm clocks for the Danish brand with a deliberately understated and discreet aesthetic. The name “okiru” is fitting, as it means “to wake up” in Japanese. The name thus reflects the designer’s wish of making early mornings as tranquil as possible.

These Stelton alarm clocks complement their clean design with function. They come with a silent movement that ensures the bedroom remains both quiet and relaxing through the night. At the same time, a gentle light allows the user to check the time without needing to turn on a brighter table lamp or a smartphone. To turn on the light, one only needs to softly touch the clock.

As convenient as it is beautiful, these Stelton alarm clocks feature a dial at the back which provides an easy way to set the alarm for the morning. The dial has the same color as the alarm hand and the top pin, adding a stylish finishing touch to the design. The top pin remains up when the user sets an alarm, offering an easy way to make sure it’s turned on – at a glance. Finally, a snooze function allows the user to quickly stop the alarm with a gentle touch of a finger. These Stelton alarm clocks come in three colors that complement the minimal design.
