A recent addition to Sternglas’ Bauhaus-inspired collection of watches, the Topograph watch features a distinctive design that draws inspiration from topography and measuring instruments. The watch has a bold as well as masculine appearance, with a stainless steel case that measures 42mm. The black dial not only boasts thin markings in contrasting white, but also features a Rehaut with 60 second indices. Together with details that mark differences in height, the Rehaut and indices give the watch its name.
A double anti-reflective as well as scratch-resistant domed sapphire glass covers the dial. On the back, a sapphire crystal protects the movement while also providing a perfect view of its mechanism. The Sternglas Topograph watch comes with a Miyota 821A automatic movement with 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. Premium quality and robust, the movement – and watch – are both meant to last a lifetime. The Topograph watch also features short, comfortable lugs and a handmade leather strap. Finally, the quick-release system allows the user to change the strap in mere seconds, without the need for any tools.
