Goodnow Farms Chocolate
Award-winning, single-origin chocolate made with ethically sourced cacao beans. After tasting some premium quality craft…
Dark and luscious. Full of flavor. Simple but expertly crafted. Artisan chocolate is more than just a sweet treat. When it’s made with passion and a dedication to the highest quality, a bar of chocolate can stimulate the senses like no other food can. And maybe even induce a state of bliss, for a few moments at least. Sharing a similar aromatic complexity with wine and coffee, chocolate can surpass both of them with a range of intricate flavors. To coax these aromatic profiles from the cacao bean, producers perfect their selecting and roasting processes to achieve flavor nirvana.
Quality ingredients make all the difference, whether it’s a plate of homemade food or artisan chocolate. Producers dedicate a lot of time to finding the best cacao bean farms and spend just as much time establishing close and durable relationships with the farmers to ensure the quality of their chocolate. Next come a range of preparation, roasting, and processing techniques to create each brand and product’s signature flavor profiles. Some bars feature only cocoa butter and cane sugar, while others bring together extra ingredients to highlight the aromatic depth of the cacao beans. These include everything from exotic fruit and caramel to coffee, all designed to offer different tasting experiences.
Although great taste always takes precedence, creative design can also enhance artisan chocolate. Sometimes, it can even transform it into a work of art. Modular chocolates, artistic creations that look almost too good to eat, or sculptural designs complement the essence of quality chocolate. A taste of heaven in a harmonious symphony of and for the senses.
