Joel Allen is a former IT guy turned carpenter that’s built his own secret hide out the HemLoft, a small tree house in the backwoods of Whistler, British Columbia, and Canada. It hangs on a precipitous slope in a towering stand of Hemlocks, bout a 5 minute walk from the nearest road. The hidden space appears to be floating in space but since it’s located on government land it is currently under the threat of being taken down.
