The Plicate Wrist Band Watch by Benjamin Hubert

The Plicate wrist watch by British designer Benjamin Hubert gives off a presence of what it truly means to be ‘cool.’ Created for the Italian accessory company Nava, the traditional 2D graphical display of most time pieces has been replaced to make way for an innovative form modeled after the pleats seen in paper fans. The detailed surface under the polyurethane strap was designed to allow an easy air flow between the band and the wrist and also prevents sweat build up. The second collaboration project between Nava and Benjamin Hubert, Plicate was on display during the 2012 Salone Del Mobile earlier this year.
