The Throwback Triumph Trophy 1200 by Too Hard Motor

A custom cafe racer designed with a clean aesthetic that doesn’t compromise the bike’s fierceness.

Madrid-based Too Hard Motor transformed this 1998 Trophy 1200 bike into a stylish as well as fierce cafe racer. Named Throwback Triumph Trophy 1200, the bike has a clean aesthetic and a slimmed down silhouette. The workshop stripped down the motorcycle and made some radical changes. Apart from shortening the frame at the rear and designing a cantilevered saddle, the team also hid the electrical system for a cleaner look. The modified Triumph Bonneville Bobber tank now makes space for a lithium battery, while the rest of the electric components have been simplified.

The updated chassis features an inverted fork and a Triumph Daytona 675 Ohlins TTX36 rear shock absorber. Other new parts include a Triumph T120 headlight, a Daytona 675 swingarm, and a Rizoma front fender. The wheels have spoked rims for a classic touch, while the custom exhaust system boasts two silencers under the engine and new air filters. The team also included various parts from Motogadget, including grips, a keyless starting system, front turn signals, and a speedometer.
