This angular building was created by WMR Arquitectos as a family’s weekend retreat on the cliffside of El Arco, Chile. The contemporary design makes use of natural materials, softening its look and complementing the environment. The wooden facade fits in with the surroundings, the stone foundation echoes the texture of the sand, and the glass of the windows reflects the sky. Even inside, the house directs attention outdoors. On the ground floor, the spacious porch faces the water. Upstairs, the bedroom windows and the balcony look out over both land and sea.
