Hiding technology inside minimalist tray designs.

Made by Seoul-based design studio PESI as part of Samsung’s Creative Square program, Composition reimagines device-charging technology as minimalist, modern accessories and furniture. The wireless charging furniture and tray collection brings together style and function in an ingenious design. Elegant and simple, the trays have a built-in battery underneath, doubling as classic storage and display areas as well as charging stations. After charging the battery, the user can simply move the tray around the home or office. The trays also expand into furniture pieces offering a wider range of options for modern interiors and different requirements.

Currently, the Composition collection includes the separate Tray as well as a Tray Cabinet, Tray Shelf, and Tray Table. Colors range from white, gray, and black to red, olive, and pink, with wooden finishes also included. Customers can mix and match the designs to make them blend into any living space. A creative project that showcases the importance of good design and simplicity even when it comes to complex, state-of-the-art technology. Photographs© PESI.
