Grandfather had the profile of a true Italian, and of course, the charm to match it. With smooth shoes, fine suits and a Cadillac ride its a wonder how he ever maintained such a nasty habit. He carried a paper towel in his pocket, for days using the same square refolding it, unwrinkling it, promising this crusty corner was still good. He used it to wipe his sweaty brow, his constant drippy nose, a few pads to his lips after dinner, and then of course on us kids.
Thank goodness for the always fresh-sheet-available Wood Tissue Box by Megawing. Sleek and becoming they leave a lovely touch of the forest about each room. The container is wrapped in different grains of teak, white oak and sandalwood. Coverings are easily removed by the magnetic seam. Simply tuck your stack of tissues inside the cavity. It’s snappy fun to place your tissues wherever the magnet sticks, to the fridge, mirrors, or iron furniture pieces. Can also be hung using the wall mount or set down traditionally on a table top.

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
